Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Statistics is one of the points of mathematical convergence where brilliance is evident. Given recent events dealing with life-altering social justice issues it is evident that students of all ages need to be armed with the tools to represent and analyze data. Participants will use data from current events to explore K–12 math standards related to statistics and data analysis. Participants will explore the GAISE framework (Guidelines for Assessment and Instruction in Statistics Education) to focus on modeling statistical reasoning and inquiry. Standards-based activities promoting equitable practice provided.
