Robert Q. Berry III Ph.D. is the Samuel Braley Gray Professor of Mathematics Education and the Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the School of Education and Human Development at the University of Virginia. He is a Past-President of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM). In 2022, Berry was elected to the National Academy of Education, an honorific society consisting of U.S. members and international associates based on outstanding education scholarships. Starting July 1, 2022, Berry will be the Dean of the College of Education at the University of Arizona.
