Originally from Chicago, a lifelong Cubs fan! I have spent 2 decades tinkering in mathematics classrooms with the constant mission of getting students to 'need' to use mathematics. Technology IS mathematics and if we can all agree on that, then we may find our BEST math curriculum will require technology -- someday :) My favorite mathematician is Benoit Mandelbrot...who is yours? I enjoy playing soccer every minute that I still can and have been known to pick up a guitar when no one is looking.
