Jeramie Oliveira Math Teacher Simi Valley High School I have been teaching for 24 years, This is year 18 with SVUSD.  As a student with multiple learning disabilities in the 80s, school was challenging for me.  I became a teacher to help kids like me.  I explore math differently using the phrase “work smarter, not harder” because math teaching should be facilitating student knowledge, not frustrating student learning.  I am an original digital native having all types of tech access since 1979.
